Marc Russell Benioff is an American internet entrepreneur, author and philanthropist. He is the founder, chairman and CEO of Salesforce, a large enterprise cloud computing company.

Mark first met Steve Jobs in 1984 when Apple Inc. hired him as a summer intern.
He landed this gig in the first place was something of a fluke; as a college student at the University of Southern California, He'd reached out to the company’s Macintosh team to complain about a bug in its software and somehow parlayed that conversation into a job.

Salesforce famously launched in an apartment that Benioff rented, and he put up some of his own money to buy the company’s first computers.
