Morin's stellar career really started when she answered what she thought was a phony ad from Apple on Craigslist. She didn’t think Apple would ever advertise on Craigslist, but she answered it anyway. And it was real. She got the interview, and then the internship and then went on to work for Apple in the iTunes unit in 2006. She wasn't at Apple long, before she was hired away by Google to work on Google Maps and Google Search. During her nearly four years at Google, a few things happened to Morin that would change the course of her life. She caught the entrepreneur bug and decided she wanted to start her own company. While she was preparing for her wedding, the first-ever TechShop opened in San Francisco and She started making decorations for her wedding. After the wedding she setup shop in her dining room and launched a website that catered to women with do-it-yourself projects. In under four years, Brit + Co has become a phenom
